SIIOS is a security operational intelligence system — a smart city style platform for monitoring incidents across bank branches. Akkurat built the software that coordinates multiple types of field agents into one real-time operation, and it runs at genuine enterprise scale.

The challenge

Monitoring security incidents across hundreds of physical branches means pulling together many moving parts — different agents, locations and event types — into a single, reliable view. The system had to stay fast and dependable at scale, because in security operations a lag or a dropped event is not a minor bug.
