Using technology to connect the whole school

Digital Agenda is an edtech app that connects everyone around a school — teachers, directors, parents and students — in one place. Akkurat built the platform that centralizes a school’s communication and daily routine, replacing scattered notes and messages with a single channel.

The challenge

School communication is fragmented across paper agendas, group chats and phone calls, and important information gets lost. The goal was to concentrate announcements, procedures and day-to-day updates into one app that four very different audiences would each find easy to use.

What we built

• A direct communication channel linking teachers, directors, parents and students.
• A central place for school information, routines and standard procedures.
• Tools that simplify a school’s management and communication routine.

Technology & approach

We designed for four audiences at once, prioritizing clarity so parents and students could use it as easily as staff. The app was built with a mobile-first experience and a back end that keeps every group in sync.

The result

Digital Agenda launched on Google Play as a working school-communication platform, giving institutions one organized channel for the whole community. It reflects how we build software that has to be genuinely usable by everyone, not just the tech-savvy.
