Car4Sale is a marketplace that brings buyers and sellers of used vehicles directly together. Akkurat built the app that lets anyone sell their car quickly and connect with a ready buyer, cutting out the distance, delay and friction of a traditional sale.

The challenge

Selling a used car is slow and full of intermediaries. The vision was a fully mobile marketplace that connects the two sides directly — shortening the geographic gap, simplifying the financial side, and drastically cutting the time a negotiation takes. A two-sided marketplace only works when both buyers and sellers find value fast.

What we built

Technology & approach

We built Car4Sale as a fully mobile experience, prototyping the list-and-discover journey first, then developing native apps backed by a marketplace engine that keeps listings and connections in sync.

The result

Car4Sale shipped on Google Play as a working used-vehicle marketplace, giving sellers a fast way to reach buyers directly. It is a clear example of the two-sided marketplace products our team designs and builds.
